Getting started
- Open Perfect Frame and tap Choose Video.
- Select a video from Photos using the system picker.
- Scrub or use Earlier and Later to reach the moment you want.
- Compare frames in the nearby strip and tap your selection.
- Tap Save Photo to export a JPEG still or share it.
Suggested Frame
Tap Find Suggested Frame when you want on-device help choosing a candidate. The suggestion highlights one nearby frame; you can still tap any frame before exporting.
Premium and Restore Purchase
Premium is a one-time unlock for unlimited saves, HEIC export, and unlimited Suggested Frame scans. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchase.
Common questions
Does Perfect Frame upload my videos?
No. Source videos stay on your device.
Is this a video editor?
No. Perfect Frame is a focused utility for extracting still photos from videos.
Why does Photos access appear at export?
Saving a still photo requires add-only Photos permission. Choosing a video uses the system picker for the item you select.
